- Comment As a photographer, he would need to meet WP:CREATIVE. I have found that his work is in the Birmingham Museum of Art, Alabama. His obituary states "Examples of his work can be found in the collections of museums, galleries and private collectors", but unfortunately does not name the museums and galleries. I have found a 1992 Chicago Tribune article [1] about several photography exhibitions, including one with works by Andre Kertesz, Bill Brandt, Diane Arbus, Sally Mann, Sheila Metzner and Vernon Miller, and "Rounding out the show are images by Berenice Abbott, Richard Albertine, Harry Callahan, Imogen Cunningham, George Hoyningen-Huene, Annie Leibovitz and Nicholas Nixon." No, I know that being exhibited alongside notable photographers does not automatically make him notable, but it is an indication that he was "regarded as an important figure" (#1 of WP:CREATIVE).RebeccaGreen (talk) 11:34, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Keep has a major claim of significance as having his works in the permanent exhibitions of notable museums which means he passes WP:NARTIST and he has coverage in reliable sources such as the Chicago Tribune mentioned above and book reliable sources already referenced in the article including university press which is regarded as particularly notable, certainly a notable photographer that deserves to be included, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 19:33, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Keep as accepted as a major figure, and as displayed in exhibitions and collections. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:41, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
